Jason Fried, CEO of Basecamp, explains the importance of writing skills to the NY Times Corner Office
Jason Fried, the CEO of Basecamp, the provider of project management software, explains to Adam Bryant in the NY Times that writing skills are fundamental to hiring decisions, “You have to be a great writer to work here, in every single position, because the majority of our communication is written, primarily because a lot of us work remotely but also because writing is quieter. And we like long-form writing where people really think through an idea and present it.”
“the enemy is more an idea that you’re opposed to, rather than another business” @jasonfried in @nytcorneroffice https://t.co/bKuUTK5YQO
